A really fun session, beginning with a nice Sunday roast in the pub.

Wind was steadily building but I'd packed my safest (i.e. biggest) two-board option.

That meant starting on the Manta115/7.4 combo which was okay for a bit, but it was really too lumpy to be fun. By the time I'd launched the wind was enough to not need the size anyway.

After lending the Manta out for a while, I changed to the old Bee267/6.4, by which time the wind had risen more and others were on 5.3s... However, the old Bee is excellent fun (and FAST!) in these conditions and it was perfectly fun with a 5.4m buzzing in and out with a few little jumps and the odd wave to play on.

Had I brought the Evo74/5.4 instead of the Manta I'd have used it instead, but would probably have had less fun. Confirmed by H who borrored the Bee for a while too!

I also had a quick spin on H's RRD Wave Twin 90, which was great fun! Must explore some more new-style boards at some point.

A great afternoon with friends in the sun :)
